In yet another Ghostly Stagecoach romp, The Legend of The Devil s Stagecoach , is a tale which originated from 19th Century Danish Settlers. A particular such Settlement was founded in Santa Ynez, California (then known as Solvang). Perhaps influenced by their own Old World Myths, The Danes tell a take regarding this Dark and foreboding Stagecoach. It is said that Residents of Town, who led unsavory and Evil lives, when they died were collected by none other than Old Scratch himself, The Devil. His Black carriage was drawn by a Team of 4 Coal Black Horses, with Red Eyes . Only the "Doomed" could "see" him or his Coach. The Devil would collect these Souls and take them to Hell. His Coach was seldom seen however, but the thundering hooves of his steeds could be heard as they clopped down the Street. Even today, with Modern pave Streets, some say in the middle of the Night, they can still be heard roaming The City in search of wayward and Evil Souls.
