The Devil's Canyon Encounter

The unusual Case involved several Hunters in Upstate New York, near the Town of Hunter. The popular area hunting location was ominously known as "Devil's Canyon". It was around 1:15 AM on October 14, 1958. One of the Hunters went off on his own, working his way through the Canyon into a stand of dense woods on the other side. Coming out of the woods - into a clearing - The Hunter encountered an unusual sight. At first the Hunter thought it odd that someone would build a structure so far removed from "civilization". Upon closer look, he saw what "it" really was. The Object appeared to be Saucer-shaped with dull lighting visible. The Object appeared to be 40 feet in diameter and 12 feet high. A space of 8 feet between the bottom of the Craft and the ground was estimated at. The Craft sat on two, strut-like "legs" with circular pads.

Amazed by the incredible sight, the Hunter soon noticed 3 very skinny Beings - "described as Stick Figures", exit the Craft and appeared to communicate with each other. The Hunter claimed he heard no noise save a low humming sound coming from the Craft. Suddenly, the 3 Beings appeared to be "circling" The Hunter. Scared, the Hunter loaded his weapon and quickly went back from wear he entered the clearing at. He ran back to his Main Camp and told his friend. Staying up the rest of the night, they went to the location of the encounter in the morning. No evidence was found.
