1955... Black and White...Atomic War and Mutants...who could ask for more from this 1955 ''B-Movie'', ''The Day The World Ended'' (to include very cheesy Music soundtrack). A Nuclear War destroys all life save a lone cabin in a Canyon out West. The Family (which have been preparing for The End for years, with supplies), are visited by Outlaws and other wayward survivors. One thinks that perhaps more of The World survived than The Narrator of The Film originally said. Impending Rain Storms will cause Fallout to contaminate The Cabin (Problem One). Problem Two is a rather silly looking Mutant (Hairy Body with a ''Head'' featuring three eyes). The Mutant wants women (of course). As The Radioactive Rain falls (melting The Monster), The Group escapes destruction in doors (apparently Acid Rain wont eat through wood for some reason). The final scene shows The Cabin Radio picking up the voices of other survivors. The Group decides to head out to new beginnings in a ''Brave New World''. A remake was done in 2001 (even worse).
