Most people have never heard the name of Taira No Masakado. He was a particularly ruthless 10th Century AD Japanese Warlord, who attempted to overthrow the then Emperor and establish His own Dynasty. Captured (alive) after the failed coup, Masakado was beheaded. His Family was allowed to bury Hi body – but without His Head! In fact, as His Legend continues – Taira's daughter was a Witch who summoned forth several Demons to destroy The Emperor and His Palace. Historically, a massive earthquake DID in fact rock the region in and around Tokyo then. In time, Chiyoda City (what would become so centuries later), would grow like any Tokyo suburb. Along with it, generations of The Masakado Family – who despite their ancestor's treachery, maintained a beautiful grave. But still, no one knows where His head was buried. But this is part of The Curse. Perhaps His ''Spirit'' is highly annoyed with being buried as such, for this ''anger'' is said to be palpable. Should anyone ''stand close'' to Masakado's Grave, they will feel strong and hateful emotion. As many as 20 Construction Workers, from as many building projects near The Grave (over 15 years), have met with fatal job-site accident or outright suicide. His Grave is now somewhat of a ''tourist spot'' for those who wish to ''experience'' the effect known as ''Masakado's Anger''.
