The ''Cumberland Spaceman'' Photograph

This Photograph has sparked more debate (even now) than some of the more famous UFO or Extraterrestrial pieces of photographic evidence . Regardless of one's thinking that it is an outright fake or something else - is left up to the viewer. Taken on May 24, 1966 by off-duty British Fireman Jim Templeton, he was out in a local Park with his wife and young daughter. Templeton was an avid photographer in his leisure time and liked to take pictures of mostly his Family. The day was bright and sunny. His daughter was playing near him, so Jim knelt down and snapped a photo. Later, when developing the roll of film, he found something that still baffles today. In the developed photo of his daughter (over her shoulder), is what appears to be a Being in a White one-piece suit, wearing a helmet The face is obscured by a slighting glowing Green light .

Templeton swears NO ONE was behind his daughter (or walked into the frame at the precise moment he took her picture). Further, Jim's wife was nowhere around either. What was also odd about the incident several reports of strange lights in the sky had been reported (by others) in the area. Published several years later as dubbed ''The Cumberland Spaceman'', Templeton claimed that Agents from The Ministry of Defense approached him wishing to see the negatives. He stated that he was constantly harassed by telephone (despite the fact that he told him he no longer had it). His Life was even threatened. The photo was examined MANY times. Some claim (by their findings) it is fake, and that someone dressed as a Spaceman was OBVIOUSLY standing behind the little girl. Others, claim that the photo is 100% genuine.
