Highly debated for many years, the most strange Case of The "Crystal Skulls", have been used as Plot devices in many Books, Movies and Television Shows. Born of a supposed "Supernatural and Extraterrestrial origin", they are often called "fake" or are given an "unbelievable" origin story. You be the judge, - unusual Art or "something else". The story begins in the 1930s, when famous but (controversial) British Explorer F.A. Mitchell Hedges, was searching for a "mythic" Ancient Mayan City called "Libaantun". The City was reported the location of a Pre-Mayan culture that used "strange and advanced technology". Discovering the City, he unearthed a series of solid, highly polished Milk-white Quartz artifacts, in the distinctive shape of human skulls. So detailed and precise, they could not have been made by any Meso-American Culture at the time. The Skulls were claimed to be at least 12,000 years old. Hedges claimed that the simple act of "holding" The Skulls, created "strange and euphoric" feelings. His Daughter, Anna even claimed The Skulls were able to project "images into the mind". Anna claimed to have a vision in the 1940s, while holding a Skull, that 'showed a Man of renown, riding in an automobile. The Man's "head exploded" in an instant!" Many feel she was "shown" The impending assassination of US President John F. Kennedy, some 20 years in the future!

The Skulls were much later subjected to laser exposure, in an attempt to analyze their manufacture. Some claim that "strange images can be seen, similar to Astrological "Star Maps". Others, a strange unknown language. When subjected to sound, The Skulls allegedly resonate on "unusual" levels. Skeptics state that the technology with The Pre-Mayan Culture was sufficient enough to manufacture the artifacts, seen as a form of ritual worship piece. They claim that creation could take up to several years. They also point to a series of faked Crystal Skulls that were manufactured in Germany in the 19th Century, that flooded The Antiquities World. Faked Art pieces or perhaps artifacts from an Ancient Culture that closely associated itself with "Extraterrestrial Origin?''
