The Cosco Artifact

Spark Plugs in and of themselves are nothing new. But naturally, when they are found encased in rock reputed to be 500,000 years old one pays a little closer attention. The so-called Cisco Artifact was discovered in 1961 in Northern California. A group of Prospectors, discovered an unusual Geode. Upon on closer examination (by breaking off a section of the rock), the Prospectors were amazed to find the cross section of what appeared to be Spark Plug - embedded into the rock. Although obviously corroded to a great extent, there was little doubt as to just what the object in the rock was. The next question was how did it get inside? Taken to a local University for examination, the fantastic numerical figure (given to date the Geode) was 500,000 years old!. Scientists could not explain how a spark plug got inserted into a seemly solid objects as a Geode. The Plug seemed to resemble an automotive component, but obviously can't be. Many proponents of UFO theory say this is proof positive that Alien Life visited Earth Centuries before. The plug was a part of a repair to some type of ancient machine . Naturally, the Regulated Science Community cites a hoax. Stating the artifact (while the rock is genuine in age, the Spark Plug is from the 1930s). Still, they could not show how one could pull off such a feat . When contacted for an update (and new Article) about the Artifact (recently in 2008) by an investigative film crew, it was determined that of the 3 men who discovered the Artifact , on had died and the other two state that them have withdrawn from the Public . Neither will state what happened to The Cosco Artifact . Hoax or Cover-Up?
