Little children and toys (especially dolls) can be a creepy (and scary) part of any horror film or story. Annabelle is a ''crown jewel ''in the Royal Horror Collection of recent horror films. Released in 2014, Annabelle is an unofficial sequel to the 2013 film The Conjuring . Centering on a real haunted house story Annabelle is a doll possessed by an evil child spirit. The doll's goal is to possess it's human owner. In reality, the real Annabelle was a Raggedy Ann doll. The doll (possessed) was locked away in the Spiritual Museum of Ed and Lorraine Warren (real life Demonologists who investigated the Conjuring House Case (and Annabelle, of course). The film producers felt that using a real Raggedy Ann would have brought lawsuits from the dolls manufacturing company (not to mention no one ever buying one again!).
