Reported widely at the time, The Ottoman Invasion of Wallechia (Modern Romania), was preceded by The Night Raid on Targoviste (October 15, 1595). The epic engagement was aimed at capturing The Ottoman Ruler Mehemd II (which failed). Regardless, a tactical victory was claimed by The Wallechians against The Ottomans. Several days prior to The Battle, a strange ''glowing light'' was seen in the skies over The Wallechian Army. It was seen both day and night. No current astronomical charts identified this strange ''visitor''. It bathed The Army in a weird ''blue light'' at nighttime. The ''Comet'' also appeared solid at times, without a ''flaming tail'', but what appeared to be small lights glowing and twinkling over it's surface. It disappeared after The Battle never to be ''seen'' again.
