What Sci-Fi Film or Book has not featured a mysterious Machine capable of seeing into The Future,  The Chronoviewer (along with a host of other names) was always a big feature in some. Seen as a bulky machine with blinking lights, a TV type screen allowed one to see events in The Past as well and The Future. However, some state that the Plot Device of many Films may have actually been built. In the 1960s, The Roman Catholic Church (which operates many high-tech Scientific Research Branches), was said to have commissioned many of The World s leading Scientists to create just such a Device. Names such as Enrico Fermi (in the 1920s) and Rocket developer Werner Von Braun have been linked to The Project (which is so secret that the Name is even unknown). Using technology which is also linked to Nicolo Tesla and the much later (failed ) Philadelphia Experiment , The Church supposedly created just such a Device to see into The Past and Future. Plans were also traded or gathered through espionage - to The US and other friendly Nations. Regardless if The Chronoviewer is real, the believe that one could peer back into The Past is a tantalizing one.
