As we have seen thus far, War is a staple of many classic Ghost stories and hauntings in many Countries. The American Civil War was no different. For 4 years (1861-1865), America went through a bloody and tragic episode of it's History. Over 700,000 died or were wounded (many so young). Just about every Southern Town has several old Cemeteries with at least several ex-Confederate soldier graves. Much studied as well, many enthusiasts visit these Resting Places and related battlefields. One such visitor in 1997, outside of Franklin, Tennessee - stopped at Carrollon Cemetery (noted to contain many fallen Southern soldiers from The Battle of Franklin in 1864). With a photo taken of his visit, Mr. Robert Ziest - went on with his Tour, not stopping to check his photos (taken with a digital camera). Later, when he did, this strange image was found. In the far right, upper corner of the photo of the Soldiers Cemetery, is the clear image of what appears to be an unidentified Civil War soldier. The camera was checked. No evidence of tampering or related hoax could be found.
