The ''British Grenadier'' Encounter

For 3-days in May of 1969, The British Petroleum Company Tanker "British Grenadier", was moving through The Gulf of Mexico. Her crew reported what appeared to be a strange "Arrowhead-shaped" Object following the Tanker both day and night. Roughly 1-mile above The Tanker, it's appearance would start everyday at 12:00 PM. The Craft glowed with a "Silvery color". With the start of the sighting, The Tanker would begin to experience electronic problems. On the last day of the sightings, a truly strange thing happened. The Engineering Room was locked at 11:45 AM. As clockwork, the Object appeared at Noon. After watching for several minutes, The Tankers Chief Engineer went back below Decks. He found the door to Engineering broken open and The Tanker's Engine "taken apart". Only he and The Captain had keys. The "work" undertaken to disassemble The Engine would have taken much longer than the 15-minutes of lapsed time. Recorded in The Tankers Log, the ship eventually made Port in Brazil. The Captain reported the incident to BP Authorities and The Log was taken by them. The crew was "advised" not to discuss the strange incident.
