The Brigham Encounter

This Case occurred on May 7, 1968 - in the skies over Brigham, Utah (US). A Mother and Daughter were driving near the outskirts of Town, around 1:00 PM. The "Desert" Town rarely has any aircraft traffic due to it's remote locations (far off normal aircraft travel routes). As they were driving, the two saw what they said was a "medium sized", "disc-shaped" Object, moving very slowly across the Western portion of the skies. The Object also appeared to have 4 leg-like extensions underneath, that were in the "down position". The Witnesses pulled their car over to the shoulder of the road and retrieved a set of binoculars. They watched the Craft on great detail. When the Object was roughly 500 yards away, it began to descend, as if landing. Still curious, the two Women began to drive towards the location where the Craft touched down. However, before they could get any closet that 200 yards, the Saucer suddenly "shot straight up" at a high rate of speed.
