As close to a Werewolf as America can get, The Bray Road Beast was a humanoid part Man and part Wolf-like creature that reportedly stalked 1936 Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Reported sightings even went as far South as Illinois and as far North as British Columbia. Large (standing 7-feet tall when fully erect), the creature was covered in thick hair. It had a large Wolf-like head (with fangs, of course). It was said to either run upright or on all fours. A rash of mysteriously killed and mutilated Elk, Moose, Cattle and a huge assortment of other Bovines were tallied and attributed to The Beast. Local and State Law Enforcement all tried to catch this creature (without success). Some people link this creature to The Michigan Dogman.
