The Bourne Stone

‘’Discovered’’ in The Township of Bourne, Massachusetts around 1680, The ‘’Bourne Stone’’ was reputed to be of Norse (Dane) origins. Another piece of ‘’proof’’ that The Vikings ‘’found’’ North America LONG before Spanish Expeditions did in the late 15^th Century. The piece of stone, weighing 300-pounds – contains carved Rune markings, NOT consistent with local Native American Culture. Examined many times since, in 1977 – Scientists determined that the stone was ‘’possibly’’ a much later (18^th Century version of Native American ‘’pictography’’. Others, are NOT so sure……..
