The Bouganville Reef Encounter

A classic "Cover-Up" Case from 1965, it involved a Passenger filled Ansett-Ana DC6B Plane, crew abs of course.....an Unidentified Flying Object!. On May 28th, The Flight was enrolled from Brisbane, Australia to Port Moresby, New Guinea. Atmospheric conditions were perfect .Around 10 AM, Pilot and Co-Pilot were shocked to see a "large, flattened Disc - with some kind of exhaust trailing from it's rear", fly up next to the DC6B! Unclear of what to do, the Pilot maintained his airspeed and travel altitude. The Pilot called Air Traffic Control, who confirmed that an "unknown Object" was being "tracked". All Passengers with cameras began to take photos AND film! The amazing sight continued for about 15 minutes. The Object maintained it's speed in relation to the DC6B. It began to slowing accelerate, climbing up into Space. The Pilot continued onto New Guinea.

Upon landing, no Passenger ladder was brought to the Plane. The crew thought this odd, and radioed for disembarking protocols. After a 20-minute wait, several Military style vehicles and a Passenger Lift, approached the Plane. As the story was related by Passengers, "Men with Guns", came on board and took all cameras. No explanations were given and all (terrified), complied. The Pilot (irrational as how his Passengers were treated), tried to speak with a "Man" who produced "Australian Government credentials". The Pilot was threatened to never talk about what he had seen. As time went one, many came forward to tell this unusual story. Naturally, The Australian Government states that the "story" is fabrication.
