The ''Black Sphere''

On October 25, 1973, US Naval Radar Stations in Western Australia, reported the appearance of an unknown Object - heading directly over (and into) Australia! Determined NOT to be a missile, The Radar Station (located in the Mountains) appeared be be within the flyover path. The Officer on Duty went outside to see if he could get a visual sighting of the erratically acting Radar Contact. Going outside of the Station Tower, the Officer saw what appeared to be a Black, yet translucent Sphere-like Object fly over his position. The Sphere had a brim encircling it with a softer Whitish glowing semi-Dome (beneath it). He estimated it to be some 30 feet in diameter. The Object hovered over his position for a few minutes before resuming it's journey . The Officer alerted the local AFB to scramble an Intercept Flight. Before the Jets could get airborne however, the Object disappeared from Radar contact (just prior to overtaking a nearby City). The report was filed. With no investigative results! It should further be noted that the Officer's Relief was driving up the mountain in hi car and saw THE SAME THING! (from a different angle).
