A ''Ghost Story'' originating in Bradley, Lincolnshire, England – there are two separate ''origin'' stories. The first, is that a ''dark, spectral Being'' is said to be seen wandering thru The Woods outside of Bradley. Never evil in intent, this ''mournful'' Spirit was at first said to be a Nun whose Abbey was destroyed during The Tudor Era, when King Henry VIII ordered all Catholic religious institutions seized. In some zeal, some Religious were murdered by The King's Troops. The ''Black Lady'' is said by some to still wander the Woods (lost) – trying to find Her former ''residence''. In another more ominous versions, The Black Lady was a Mother with Child – who was murdered during The Baron's War of the 13th Century AD. Brutally raped and killed, Her assailant's took Her Child. It is further said, The Lady's Ghost wanders The Woods still looking for Her missing Child.
