Both a Modern and a possible 17th Century AD ''Urban Legend'', the ''Black Eyed Children'' are said to be the physical manifestation of a Demon, in either Male or Female guise. Quite normal in overall appearance, their most striking feature is that of their coal black (entirely) eyes! They are also associated with haunted houses and related structures. In Folk Tales, The ''Black Eyed'' are found wandering down lonely road (unattended) or ''showing up'' at One's doorstep – looking for ''help''. This should not be given, for if done, The ''Child'' will vanish and The Demon will possess either You or your home. ''Black Eyed'' are also used in more modern Horror Film genres, with equally creepy effect.
