The Beverly Encounter

This amazing Case happened on April 22, 1966 in the skies over the Town of Beverly, Massachusetts. It is an extremely well documented Case. Around 9 PM on the date in question, Residents all over the Town began to notice their backyards and windows light up with "bright lights". As people began to go outside, they began to see a "glowing, Football shaped Object" - flying very slow and very low (100 feet in some cases), over the town. At least 50 people watched from outside with many more calling in to The Police. The Object appeared to be moving towards the local High School athletic field. Groups began to either walk or drive to the location. Upon arrival, the Object was joined by two other glowing shapes. All three Objects appeared to be "playing tag" with one another. Thus ariel "ballet" went on for several minutes to the amazement of the 50 odd gathered. Some in the crowd began to wave their arms at the Objects. This triggered one of the Objects began to come closer to the Crowd, as if reacting to the movement. This approach scared some in the crowd.

Within 20 minutes, the three Objects began to ascend higher and higher into the sky, until they resembled nothing more than several "very bright Stars". At this time, a Police Unit arrived at the field. When told of the amazing sight, the Officers laughed. It was at this time the three "white Stars" began to change color, glowing a "bright Red". Even the responding Officers were somewhat confused at to "what" they saw. The incident was well reported Regionally. So much so, that The Government Agency known as "Project: Blue Book" investigated. Over 100 testimonies were taken. Their conclusion - "Mass Hysteria".
