Featured in many ''Arthurian Legend'' Cycles – to include Mallory's ''Le Morte'', ''The Battle of Bedegraine'' was an important highlight in the ascension of Arthur as King of all Briton. As with the other conflicts Arthur and His Knights engaged in – most of His ''Rebel Kings'' surrendered to Arthur – save 11 of Them. It too has a wide variety of ''real'' locations, with The Region of Cornwall, England being the most favored. Although the exact number of Arthur's Army is not known, some accounts state The Rebel Kings combined Forces were ''scores of thousands''. Arthur is victorious after the ''bloody affair'' and is Crowned Kings of all. In The non-canonical French Epic which highlighted The Knight Lancelot du Lac, Bedegraine was where He proved His awesome fighting skills to His future King.
