In an odd Tale that borders on UFOlogy (Contacts) and their often associated sightings of strange Cryptid Beasts, ''The Bat-Man of Kent'' comes to us from Kent, England and 1963. In the early evening hours of the Evening (November), a Group of Teenagers were wandering thru a stand of nearby woods. The Teens saw what appeared to be a ''Ball of bright Light'' streak overhead. The Object did not resemble a Meteorite or Comet. Heading over to the general direction of The Light, The Group ''saw'' what appeared to be a ''Giant, Humanoid Creature''. Around 6 to perhaps 8-feet in height, The Creature was covered in ''thick Black Fur or Feathers''. But the ''unusual'' aspect of The Creature? It had NO HEAD. The Being did not appear to have ''suffered'' any trauma. It further had two ''large, Black Wings'' protruding from it's back and a ''pair of bird-like legs'' The Creature walked upright. Despite the ''lack of a Head'', The Being seems to be able to move about as it it ''did''. The Group was suddenly ''seen'' by The Creature, who began to move toward their position. Terrified, They ran away.

Going Home and telling their ''unbelievable'' Tale, the Story would spread to Police Investigation (which was more of a half-hearted joke than a real one). The ''Encounter'' would be picked up by a local Reporter, who went to the ''scene'' of the Event. He supposedly found a pair of ''strange foot prints'' that resembled ''overly large, webbed feet with claws''. He had no camera or toold to make a casting do left to come back later with help. Upon coming back though, He had ''lost His position'' and the prints were never seen again. And while some Kent Residents did claim to have seen ''something streak'' thru the skies at the time in question, The ''Bat-Man'' was not seen again. Many believe that The Creature was NOT of Extraterrestrial origins, bit as is thought, such Crafts navigate by virtue of ''inter-dimensional portals''. As such, ''rips'' are ''opened'' which allow many such ''Beings'' to be seen.
