In yet another look into Ancient Greek Mythos, in particular that of The Underworld or ‘’Hades’’, We are all aware of that infamous River Styx and of The Ferryman known as ‘’Charon’’. As known, a departed Soul had to pay a fare to traverse The ‘’River of Death’’. But what of those poor unfortunates who – either Paupers or simply not looked after in death (the placement of coinage on their eyes or in their mouth)? These are The ‘’Lost Souls’’ and they languished on The Bank of The River Styx. As such, these Souls could very well become Demons and Wraths – angered by not being able to ‘’travel on’’. A recently arrived Soul (with fare), had to be very careful when approached by These Spirits. Their goal was to try and steal one’s fare! Some lat6er adopted Roman views on this, state that such Souls are cursed to remain on The Bank of The River for 100 years. After which fact, They can pass on. But after so long, and becoming a Wrath, They refuse.
