The Asum Encounter

It was August of 1981, when a Warehouse worker set out for the ''late shift'' from His home near Asum, Denmark. The time was 2 AM. While driving up a slight incline, The Man's car began to experience mechanical problems in particular, His vehicle's electrical systems. All in all this was not an uncommon experience. Still, The Worker reached the top of the incline pulled over and prepared to examine possible problems. He did not wish to be late to work. As The Man began to look for the issue under His Hood, He noticed a strange ''Orange Colored Light'' in the night sky. The Light ''looked different from the regular Stars'', and made Him take ''notice''.

The Object grew in size and illumination intensity as it appeared to be coming towards Him. Within seconds, The Object, which now appeared to be a ''Saucer shaped Craft'', came to a stop perhaps 50-feet from the floor of a nearby field. In all, The Worker was perhaps only several hundred yards from ''the Landing''. The Worker was transfixed and couldn't move (although this may have been more out of fear that being ''manipulated''). The Man stated He saw what was described as a ''ramp of light'', come from under The Craft. This ''ramp touched the ground''. Suddenly, true fear entered into The Worker for he saw what appeared to be 5 to 8 ''figures'', exit from the bottom of The Object and walk down the ramp. He noticed that the ''creatures'' were tall and had ''huge, bulbous head''. The Man further stated that these ''Being'' moved ''very quickly, almost in a robot-like movement''. The ''Beings'' were apparently unaware of The Worker at first!

The Worker turned His gaze away from The Craft when He saw ''another car'' approaching from the opposite side of the incline road. It appeared to be a Taxi Cab. And while The Worker did not see The Driver, ''whoever it was'' ''saw'' The Craft, The Beings and Him. This second vehicle began to switch the vehicle's headlights from low to high beam perhaps even ''signaling'' The Craft (from The Worker's perspective). It was at this point The ''Beings'' became aware of The Worker. The ''group'' of Aliens began to slowly approach His location!. The Worker (now aware that He could move), shut His Car Hood and went inside His vehicle. Trying the ignition His car started! The Worker quickly drove off, passing The Cab (which also began to move off, in the opposite direction). The Worker drove like a ''madman'' far away from The Craft and The Beings. Making His way to work, The Worker was reprimanded for being almost 1-hour late (even though, according to Him it had, at best- only been 15-minutes from His ''encounter'' to making it to work). It took several years before He even told His Friends and several more before He would report The Incident to a Private Reporting Agency for Unidentified Flying Objects in Europe.
