The Aberdeen Apeman

Aberdeen is a small Township located in the far Northeast corner of The State of Maryland (US). Rolling Hills and plenty of woodlands made the oft seen ''remote'' Region a perfect place for the former US Army Weapons Proving Ground (since deactivated). But in the 1980s, Aberdeen was more known locally as being the location of many sightings of what was known as ''The Aberdeen Apeman''. Reported many times over a 2 year period, in most accounts – The ''Apeman'' is seen wandering thru the woods. The Being is dressed in Male Clothing. At a distance, it's features are obscure. But when The Apeman became ''aware'' that ''He'' had been discovered – He would ''shriek loudly'' and leap some 15-feet into the air (landing in the treetops, to scurry away). A few ''fuzzy pictures'' exist, but none show anything conclusively. After several years of sightings, The Apeman ''appearances'' stopped. Some think that the entirety of The Case was a hoax. But other believe that The Apeman was in reality an escaped Military Experiment in Genetics (perhaps even a means of crafting a ''Super Soldier'', as it were). Perhaps though destroyed, Government Agents followed the ''Story'' and tracked down their ''mistake''.....Or At Least That is What Some Think.............
