The Abbey of Thelema

Aleister Crowley.....Master of ''Showmanship'', Occult Master and ''Traveler into Unknown Realms'' (just a few of the long list of His identifiers), was – as we have seen, ''Father of Thelema'' (an esoteric Folk Magic Belief). His devotees, while now small – still exist in The World. Perhaps, as seen by them and Arcane Scholars – The ''Abbey of Thelema'' is a ''Holy'' Place. Located in Cefalu, Italy – The ''Abbey'' was among the first such ''Temples'' establish by Crowley and His Followers. A ''Mecca'' for believers in Thelema, it was established in 1923. Oddly, Crowley spent little time there, and The Abbey was administered by many of His close Associates. Long since fallen into ruin (and for obvious reasons, never renovated even for ''historical purposes''), The Abbey still attracts it's share of ''Followers of The Extreme''. The Abbey has been used to promote Occult and Satanic Rituals of many kinds (and a long standing source of problems for local Law Enforcement). Some cite that The Abbey is both cursed and haunted, due to extreme Paranormal Activities ''experienced'' there.
