The 1799 England Mass Sightings

England underwent a UFO flap in 1799 that was well documented (and discussed) for many years afterwards. Described by contemporaries as a brilliant White Ball , the Object was first seen in 1799 around 8:30 P.M. The Object flew across the ENTIRETY of the Country from a Northeastern direction (fast, but not too). The sightings occurred throughout November of that year and was seen by Commoner and Noble alike. On different nights, the Object changed colors from White to flaming Red . Reports of flames and sparks were also reported. Easily dismissed as a Comet by Modern Skeptics, they can NOT explain why the Object was often reported as completely stopping in the sky and remaining stationary for many minutes at a time!
