The Term ''Thaumaturgy'' is applied to Folk Magic and The Occult. It is defined as a Practitioner of a Specific ''Discipline'' and His or Her ability to perform an ''actual'' Paranormal or Supernatural ''Event''. The term was known in The Middle Ages and often applied to the various ''miracles'' that future Saints of The Church reputedly ''performed''. The overall outcome of Thaumaturgy, is that the desired ''effect'' cannot have any ''rational explanation'' by conventional Science or The Medical Arts.
