Thalassa

''Thalassa'' was seen by the Ancient Greeks as the very personification for The Seas. Even before the ''establishment'' of The God Poseidon, ''She'' was the very ''Life Force'' of The Waters, which in turn – gave ''Life and Nourishment'' to all forms of Oceanic Life. Thalassa is traced to Pre-Greek Culture in that Region, and Her many associated Cults could well be dated to 4,000 BC.
