Tennin

 These Japanese spirits are associated with the European Fairy legends. The Tennin are also a female dominated species (with very few males). Shown wearing brightly colored and flowing clothing, they are fond of scarves. Some versions of their myth give them wings. The Tennin are also said to help and inspire humans. They are also said to assist the recently departed into finding Heaven (upon their death).
