The ''Tartaruchi'' is rooted in very early Christian Mythos, and may have been the ''creation'' of The Apostle Paul (of The Holy Bible), as a means of illustrating the ''dangers of Hell''. A ''Tormentor Demon'' resembling a Dragon (or related Beast), ''chokes the Damned Souls in Hell'' and further tortures them which a ''three-pronged Iron Hook''. Also related to The ''Angel of Death'' (in those early times), it was said to even mutter The Beasts name would result in death.
