Surem

An ancient tale of an even older Race of mythical people, The Surem were said to live in The North American Sonoran Desert. Being Nomadic, they lived in California, Arizona and Northwest Mexico. The Surem were said to be 4 feet tall. Their most striking feature were their overly large eyes. They were said to be Magicians who could control time and space. They were said to never age or get ill. They also never knew hunger. They carried a fully stocked Lake of fish, rolled up like a blanket or carpet. As the Legend goes, one day a Surem Holy Woman announced to the people that the "Creator" wanted The Surem to come live with him. Half of the Tribe agreed while the other half opted to remain. After they were alone, it was decided that a "doorway" would be opened for the remaining Surem could hide away from humans who wanted their "gifts". The still live in this dimension, watching over The Desert. It is considered that should a human be unfortunate enough to see The Surem, they will not rest until he or see us captured and brought back to their "World".
