Strzyga

Of Slavic origins, The Strzyga were the end result of humans born with biological redundancies. Seen as freaks and often shunned during life, upon death it was said that these people became Strzyga. They took the form of a bird-like creature, similar to an Owl. The major difference was that The Strzyga drank the blood of humans. Once drained, The Strzyga would consume the victim s insides, leaving only a dry husk. The Strzyga only hunted at night and their was no real way to kill them, save avoidance.
