From Sweden comes yet another Lake Monster of Regional renown. First reported in 1635, this creature is described as having the head of a dog and the long snake-like body of a lizard. Large spiked fins are said to cover the entirety of it's body. Seen so often, that in the 1890s several expeditions were led to attempt and capture Storsjoodjurt (all failed). Not violent, it is considered a crime to attempt to trap or harm the creature. The last reported sighting was in 2008.
