Related to Ancient Sumerian Religion, The ''Star of Ishtar'' was associated with The Goddess Inanna. When She was adopted into The Babylonian Religious System, She became known as Ishtar. Inanna is also associated with The Planet Venus, and also called ''The Star of Venus''. Portrayed in ancient Art as a female Goddess, Her later symbol was a Golden 8-Pointed Star. This symbol would eventually evolve into the ''Rosette'' symbol. Inanna was seen as a ''Creator Goddess''.
