Located on Station Island, Lough Derg, Ireland – ‘’St. Patrick’s Purgatory’’ is a name given to – what some believe, is the actual ‘’Entrance’’ to ‘’Purgatory’’ (or Limbo, for some). So strongly believed in since the 11th Century AD. It was thought that Saint Patrick Himself, found The Entrance (a Cave, really).  Further, Patrick prayed to God for Human Salvation. God in turn, ‘’opened The Hole’’ so that Patrick could bring ‘’sinful’ People – so they could ‘’see what may befall them’’. Around the 14th Century AD, a Catholic Chapel was built nearby and dedicated (still) to ‘’guarding’’ The Cave.
