Squonk

From 19th Century America, come The Squonk. These are small creatures with very loose, ill-fitting skin. They are covered in warts and they do not like to be looked at (realizing that they are so ugly to behold). They were known to live in marsh lands deep in many woods in Pennsylvania (US). They are known to cry loudly (almost as a small child). They have an escape tactic that involves their copious crying. The more they cry, the more they seemly melt (until they become but a pool of tears (water). Hunters of The Squonk will walk right by them.
