"Ghost Children" are a common feature in many myths and legends throughout The World. In The United Kingdom, they are called "Spunkies". These ghostly children look as they did in life. It is thought that they are the Spirits of unbaptized children or orphans. They are said to wander the Countryside, wailing the "life" in both Heaven and on Earth that they were deprived of. Often, the gather in large groups, comforting themselves. They are not known to be dangerous, but one must be careful in one's "compassion". They are known to try and "attach" themselves to such people. Spunkies often gather at Churches to serve as "Guides" of sort - showing the way to "Eternal Peace" (that they will sadly never attain). Their origins go back to the 11th Century.
