Spectrophilia

A belief found among many Cultures, the more ''modern'' term of ''Spectrophilia'' is applied to Persons who believe that they can (and do) have ''intimate relations'' with Spirits (Ghosts). More commonly found among ''Living Human Females'', often ''physical evidence'' is most often produced as ''soft tissue trauma'', and ''loss of virginity'' by virtue of lack of any Human (Male) ''touch''. The stuff of many ''Gothic Romance'' Novels and more modern Films, Spectrophilia is accomplished by ''conjuring'' said Spirit by way of an ''enchanted Mirror'' or related incantation. The term is also applied to the ancient belief in The ''Incubus'' and ''Succubus'' (of previous mention). Some Cultures found such beliefs as ''Feminine Diversions'', while others sought to ''purge'' such feelings as being ''Evil'' or ''Demonic''.
