Based on Horror Master Writer Stephen King's 1974 Short Story – 1990s ''Sometimes They Come Back'' was a Horror-Thriller-Mystery – originally crafted for American Television. The tale centers around a Groups of delinquents from 1955, who were responsible for a murder – of which they themselves were crushed to death when their Car was hit by a train. In a flash forward to 1990, the brother of the boy murdered by The Gang, moves back to His old hometown – taking a job as a teacher. During Class, three ''strange teenage boys, dressed as Greasers (1950s)'' attend His Class. ''They'' are none other than the ghosts of the three hooligans who died back in 1955 – looking for revenge. Turns out that it was out Teacher's Brother who was killed by The Greasers. During the ''fight'' – He snuck inside the Greasers Car and stole the ignition keys. As such, ''they'' could not escape being hit by the train (when their car was stalled on the tracks). After a climatic ''battle'' with The Greasers, who ''reveal themselves'' in their ''true form'' of ''Hellish Demons'', the ghost of The Teacher's Brothers appears and helps Him to defeat The Demon Greasers – by trapping them yet again on the train tracks. A ''Phantom Train'' appears and ''snatches'' The ''Ghouls'' back to Hell. The Teacher's Brother, now having ''fixed His past'' can ''travel on'' to The Afterlife. The TV movie had it's moments, and is not all bad (although King's written work is much better). True to form (and money making ventures) – two sequels were also made (which failed horribly).
