A mythical beast from the high mountains of Colorado (US), Native Americans in the Region told of a huge beats that lived thousands of years ago. Said to be a ''Land Whale'', the beats was many hundreds of feet long. It would climb up to the top of a mountain and hang on by virtue of its long spiky tail. When prey came by, it would let go of it's grip and slide down the mountain mouth open, and scoop up it's meal!
