Skunk Ape

 A creature that is said to live in The Florida (US) Swamps, The Skunk Ape was given it's name due to the overpowering stench that is associated with it. Said to live deep within The Florida Everglade Swamps, it's existence has been talked about by local Native Americans (The Seminoles), for centuries. Said to be a form of Primate, it is often called Florida's Bigfoot . Although (unlike it's more famous relative), The Skunk Ape does not always have overly large feet. They are said to be very aggressive to humans (yet will go out of their way to avoid contact with them). Reports of contact go back to the 1840s by US soldiers involved in The Seminole Indian Wars. From the 1850s until 1960 little or no contact was reported. After that time however, more and more sightings began to mount. Some say that with Man's invasion of The Skunk Ape's habitat this brought about such. There are MANY photographs of The Skunk Ape. Yet, no actual physical evidence has yet to be brought forward.
