 The Native American Navajo Tribe tell of Shaman (Healers or Witches), who have reached the height of their powers . These beings are known as Skinwalkers. They have mastered the ability to take the form of an animal for periods of time. Skinwalkers are considered evil. Upon attaining this level of magic, a Skinwalker MUST kill a family member. They are akin to traditional Shapeshifters seen in many cultures. Often chased out of their Tribe, they wander The World. The only way possible to kill a Skinwalker, is learn their true name . By saying it in front of them they will lose their power, wither and die.
