A trusted Knight of King Arthur, Galahad was one of three Knights given The Quest to find The Holy Grail. It was rumored that he was the illegitimate Son of Sir Lancelot. However, many are confused as to if Galahad was actually the “Love Child” of Queen Guinevere and Lancelot. Some place his Linage to Joseph of Arimathea. Sir Galahad (as were the other Grail Knights) were the first to be seated in the newly designed Round Table (“Siege Perilous”). Galahad's Grail adventures earned his the nickname as “God's Knight”. He would finally be allowed to “see” The Grail (an honor no Human had had since The Last Supper of Christ). Galahad's Tale further delves into other levels of Christian Dogma, by having Galahad being “ascended” in Heaven as a “Good and True” Knight. He is one of the only Knights outside of Arthur to have a closely linked Religious-based finality. His origins were used extensively (as were Arthur's) in The Middle Ages, as a form of “self-betterment” and to “strive for Christian perfection”.
