The symbolism identified as The ''Sigillum Dei'' was a 17th Century ''Magical Diagram'' proposed by Occultist John Dee. The figure – which was composed of a Pentagam, twin Heptagons and twin Heptagrams was said to be the ''Name'' of God and His Archangels. When drawn on parchment and carried – it was thought to provide the ''ultimate protection'' against Evil. Some Occultists even fashioned Amulets (Talismen) of The Sigillum Dei to be worn continually.
