A Hurrian Culture Deity (Ancient Iraq – The Middle East), ‘’Shuwala’’ was an ‘’Underworld Goddess’’ of little known attributes. Possibly a Consort to Astabi (Lord of The Underworld), She was both revered and feared. Many of Her surviving Temples or Shrines were found in ruins dating from the 21st Century BC. No known icons exist, but Shuwala was said to be ‘’formless’’ to Human View.
