From Northern England and Scotland, The Shelleycoat is a malevolent being that lives near rivers and streams. They resemble Goblins and are known to wear great coats made from different types of shells (hence their name). The Shelleycoat is a trickster that likes to mimic a human drowning. They laugh when rescuers come (and find no one to save).
