From Ancient Etruscan Mythos – ‘’Sethans’’ can be traced back to roughly 200 BC. Seen by most Scholars as the origins of Ancient Greece’s Legend of Hephaestus (The Blacksmith to The Gods), Sethlans was also associated with ‘’general’’ Fire and Combustion. Unlike His Greek ‘’Cousin’’, Sethlans was not cursed, but was invoked whenever a Forge was set up for Blacksmithing. Normally, purified (blessed) water was poured over The Forge with prescribed prayers. This ensured that whatever was produced was ‘’strong and true’’.
