''Seps''

The Seps was said (according to The Bestiaries), to be gigantic Snakes (similar to The Adder or Rattler). They reached 50 feet long. Their venom was so powerful, that it was said to turn it's prey into liquid. This made consumption MUCH easier for The Seps. The Seps was also mentioned in Mary Shelley's Prometheus Unbound  (aka Frankenstein).
