''Ghostface'' is the titular Villain of The ''Scream'' Slasher Movie franchise which began in 1996. although a ''Human''character, ''Ghostface'' seems to have somewhat Paranormal abilities (super strength and the ability to ''appear'' at will). The ''Being'' is portrayed as wearing a Black hooded Robe, with a rubber face mask shaped as a ''Screaming Ghost''. The ''Face'' itself has become a popular piece of World Pop Culture (much as The ''Guy Fawkes'' Mask was in the 1970s). Per Plot, ''Ghostface'' is actually the persona of various People, ''righting the wrong's'' perpetrated against various people. As a ''Slasher'' (and as is typical in this genre) ''body counts'' (killing) are the high point. ''Ghostface'' favors hunting knives as His weapon of choice.
